The Passenger Door Node is an electronic control unit integrated in the electric windows control panel in the passenger door.

OPERATION

The Passenger door Node carries out the following functions:

  • Memorizing of 3 driver's seat, steering column and mirror positions [F067]
  • Timed lighting of interior handles [F074]
  • Courtesy lights management [F089]
  • Management of doors/boot and fuel flap locking/unlocking [F092]
  • Management of front electric windows [F104]
  • Electric exterior mirrors [F119]
  • Timed management of defrosting [F126]
  • Management of courtesy light in exterior mirrors [F221]
  • Folding exterior mirrors [F222]
  • Electronic safety knob [F264]
  • Electric door/boot opening [F301]
  • Dead-lock engagement/release [F312]
  • Vehicle protection system signals [F322]
In addition it:

  • receives and transmits information on the B-CAN line (e.g.: diagnosis, warnings, commands, data)
  • integrates the front passenger electric window control
  • it connects with the front passenger door wiring
