356105 - L34 ADDITIONAL HEATER IS DEACTIVATED AFTER IT HAS BEEN WORKING FOR A SHORT TIME

After the additional heater has come on normally and been working for a short time it switches off
Depending on the operating logic, the additional heater switches off when the coolant temperature exceeds 70 C°.

Connect the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) to the diagnostic socket and check:

  • no faults in the supplementary heater control unit
  • parameter plausibility

Keeping the tester (Examiner or other instrument) connected to the tester input, activate the heater coolant circulation pump in active diagnosis mode and check:

  • operation of the coolant circulation system
