78539 - 3310B48 REAR BRAKE DISC (one), left or right - R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on a lift.
Move the brake caliper pistons away in order to release the brake pads from the rear brake disc using the EXAMINER diagnostic equipment.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.    See in Op. 4450B11 Rear WHEEL (one) - R.R.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the brake caliper assembly (1b).
1. Remove the rear brake pads.2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the brake caliper bracket (2b).
1. Undo the fixing pin (1a) and remove the brake disc (1b).
Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the brake disc in the housing on the hub.- Tighten the pin fixing the brake disc to torque.

- Fit the rear brake pads.
Each time the brake pads are replaced the fastening springs on the bracket have to be replaced.
- Fit the brake caliper assembly on the hub.- Tighten the bolts fixing the bracket to the wheel hub.- Fit the rear brake caliper and tighten the fixing bolts.- Tighten the bolts fixing the brake caliper to the bracket to torque.

Carry out the rear caliper calibration procedure using the EXAMINER diagnostic equipment.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
