The heated rear windscreen relay R11, located in the junction unit under the dashboard B002, directly controls the simultaneous engagement of the demisting function and the heated rear windscreen P055 (line protected by fuse F40) and the heated windscreen P056 (line protected by fuse F41).The driver''s M066 and passenger M067 front door control units (pin 10 of connector A and pin 33 of connector C) on the other hand enable the demisting function for the exterior view mirrors P060 and P061 (pins 7 and 8), respectively via the B-CAN managed by the Body Computer M001.The coil for relay R11 receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT/A) and is energized by an earth signal coming from the Body Computer M001 (pin 6 of connector H); this signal is produced:
by the buttons for switching on the heated rear windscreen and the MAX-DEF demisting function located on the climate control system control unit M070 via the B-CAN (pins 5 and 16 of connector B);
by the driver''s front door control unit M066, which transmits the low temperature signal detected by the sensor inside the exterior rear view mirror P060 (pins 16 and 17) via the B-CAN (pins 31 and 32 of connector C) See E6020 AIR CONDITIONING
by the engine management control unit M050 which sends a signal relating to the engine speed to the Body Computer M001 (pins 32 and 33 of connector B) via the C-CAN
Fuse F61 of the luggage compartment junction unit B045 protects the supply under the battery for the front door control units M066 and M067.Body Computer M001 receives an INT/A (key-on) signal from ignition switch H001 at pin 27 of connector D via fuse F31 of underfacia control unit B002.
