841004995 - E4095 TV TUNER OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Operational Description
The info-telematic control unit M065 is supplied directly by the battery (pin 7 connector B) via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.The signal coming from the microphone for voice commands, fitted inside the roof control unit M062 arrive from pins 16 and 17 of connector A; the roof control unit is also supplied directly by the battery at pin 10 of connector B via the line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002. Pins 7 and 16 , on the other hand, are designed for CAN communcation.Pins 7 and 8 of connector A of the info-telematic control unit M065 are the pins for the cables dedicated to CAN communication (8 for I-CAN A, 7 for I-CAN B), which send and receive input to the Body Computer M001 and the TV tuner M100.The TV tuner M100 receives a direct supply from the battery at pin 20, via the line protected by fuse F69 of the luggage compartment junction unit B045. Pin 19 is earthed, whilst pins 2 and 3 are dedicated to I-CAN communication.The remaining pins have the following functions:
17 and 18: R input and earth;
15 and 16: G input and earth;
13 and 14: B input and earth;
11 and 12: Csynch + earth;
10 : screening for video signals;
9 : total screening for TV tuner;
1 : TV-ON input;
6 and 5: right audio TV signal (positive and negative);
10 and 11: left audio TV signal (positive and negative);
4 : TV audio BUS screening connection.
The video signal from the outside is received by means of diversity aerials located in the rearscreen P105 and P106 which are then connected to the info-telematic control unit through coaxial cables.The system also uses the speedometer signal to deactivate the video function above 7 Km/h. This signal is transmitted by the braking control unit M051.It is supplied directly by the battery at pin 12 via the line protected by fuse F02 of the engine compartment junction unit B001.Pins 1 and 2 are dedicated to CAN communication with the Body Computer to which the speedometer signal, calculated by the braking control unit M051, is sent.This signal is also repeated for safety reasons and is transmitted from pin 16.
