Operational Description

The passive entry control unit M064 receives a supply at pin 31 of the luggage compartment jnction unit B045 protected by fuse F63.It receives and transmits information relating to the management of the controls, the data and the fault diagnosis via the B-CAN at pins 9 and 30.The passive entry control unit M064 receives signals from the aerials at the following pins for the recognition of the CID:

  • 13 and 34 outside aerial on the left front door P094;
  • 14 and 35 aerial on the right front door P095;
  • 15 and 36 aerial on the left rear door P096;
  • 16 and 37 aerial on the right rear door P097;
  • 11 and 32 aerial on the bumper P098;
  • 1 and 22 RF aerial P015;
  • 17 and 38 inside aerial on the rear parcel shelf P076;
  • 18 and 39 RF aerial on the tunnel P077;
  • 41 and 42 aerial in the dashboard P078;
  • 19 and 40 Fiat Code RF aerial P099;
  • 12 and 33 boot aerial P013.
In addition the negative signals from the switch in the outer handle for opening the left rear door and the right rear door are received from the luggage compartment control unit M063 at pins 6 and 24. Pin 26 receives the negative signal at the outer handle for opening the boot.Pins 2 and 4 are dedicated to the negative signals for the front doors Wiring diagram E7015 ALARM, whilst pin 10 is earthed.The closing of the doors is signalled to pins 2 and 4 by the switch in the passenger door outer handle I023 and by the switch in the driver''s door outer handle I022.
