ENGINE CRANKCASE

The crankcase is in light aluminium alloy and silicon with high mechanical strength and thermal conductivity.The crankshaft rests on four main bearings.Special channels in the crankcase walls carry coolant and lubrication oil.Jets at the cylinder bases spray oil to cool the pistons.
