167534 - J41 LEFT EXTERNAL REAR VIEW MIRROR ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT NOT WORKING

When the control is operated the external mirror does not move

the mirror is adjusted by the Driver's Door Node according to information from the adjustment joysticks located on the door handle.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connect and check the following at the Driver's Door Node: In errors ambient that there are no faults In parameters ambient the plausibility of the parameters detected by the selector joystick (left/right) In active diagnosis ambient the operation of the mirror movement motors	Move on to Step	1. Presence of faults	1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.
			2. Mirror (left/right) selector joystick parameters not plausible	Move on to Step
			3. Adjustment motors not working	Move on to Step
2	COMPONENT CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Remove the door handle, remove the joystick and check the operation of the selector (see test 7005RA)    Continue following the instructions in the test 7005RA Check on operation of door mirror adjustment/folding	Move on to Step	Component faulty	Replace the external mirrors control joystick [PR.7005R40]    See in Op. 7005R40 CONTROL SWITCHES for adjusting exterior rear view mirror(s) - R.R.

	Remove the left rear view mirror, disconnect the connector for the movement motors, remove the Driver's Door Node and check: the continuity between the connector and the Driver's Door Node the presence of the joint supply positive (Wiring Diagram ) E3032 EXTERIOR MIRRORS ADJUSTMENT	Move on to Step	1. Electrical connection interrupted	Move on to Step
			2. No positive supply	Move on to Step
4	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK.	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Remove the door panel and check:The continuity between the Driver's Door Node and the mirror connector (Wiring Diagram ) E3032 EXTERIOR MIRRORS ADJUSTMENT	Move on to Step	1. Electrical connection interrupted	1. Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E3032 EXTERIOR MIRRORS ADJUSTMENT
			2. No positive supply	2. Replace the Driver's Door Node
