505851 - 1028H54 Piston and connecting rod - Separation at the bench

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Remove the piston rings.2. Release the pin (2a) and separate the connecting rod (2b) from the piston (2c). Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Join the connecting rod to the piston so that:- on the left block, arrow (1a) printed on the piston faces the same side as printing (1b) on the connecting rod;- on the right block, arrow (1c) printed on the piston faces the same side as printing (1d) on the connecting rod;- Replace the pin and secure it using the circlips.
