72340 - B01 IGNITION SWITCH NOT WORKING

When the key is turned to the ON position nothing happens, the instruments do not light up; In the starting position, the starter motor does not turn.

Check the efficiency of the battery using the appropriate diagnostic equipmentMove on to Step Battery not working properlyReplace the battery
2FASTENINGS CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the following, in order:

  • Correct fastening and earth connection of the negative battery terminal
  • Correct fastening of positive battery pole and all leads connected to it
  • No oxidation of the lead fastenings
  • Correct fastening and connection between positive pole and junction with maxifuse at the battery
Move on to Step 1. Lead fastenings at the battery slack1. Tighten leads

3. Connections with slack fastenings3. Restore fastenings
