Refitting

    See in Op. 1088E10 Radiator cooling FAN - R.R.    See in Op. 1092B40 Air conditioning compressor/alternator drive BELT - R.R.    See in Op. 5040A10 Air conditioning coolant circuit - Drying and Repressurizing- Raise the vehicle- Prepare a suitable container for collecting the engine coolant1. Acting as illustrated in the diagram on the band, disconnect the rapid connector for the lower radiator pipe and leave the system to drain.

- Lower the vehicle.1. Open the band (1a) retaining the flexible pipe (1b) from the tank to the rigid section (1c) and disconnect it.

1. Undo the two nuts (1a) for the brackets securing the rigid coolant pipe (1b) to the chassis.2. Open the band (2a) retaining the rigid section of the coolant pipe to the flexible section (2b) and remove the rigid section.

- Raise the vehicle1. Disconnect the connections for the engine oil level sensor (1a) and the air conditioning compressor supply (1b).

2. Undo the bolt (2a) fixing the compressor pipes connector (2b).

1. Undo the two bolts (1a) fixing the compressor (1b) to the mounting (1c) and remove them with the washers.

- Lower the vehicle1. Moving the air conditioning system pipes aside, remove the compressor moving it towards the gearbox

Refitting ( Removing ) - Position the compressor and the pipes.- Raise the vehicle.- Tighten the two bolts fixing the compressor to the mounting to the recommended torque.

- Position the connector for the compressor pipes and tighten the fixing bolt to the recommended torque.

- Connect the connections for the engine oil level sensor and the air conditioning compressor supply.

- Lower the vehicle- Position the rigid section of the pipe, then close the band retaining the rigid section of the cooling pipe to the flexible section.- Tighten the nuts fixing the bracket securing the rigid section of the coolant pipe to the chassis.- Connect the flexible pipe from the tank to the rigid section, then close the retaining band.- Raise the vehicle.- Connect the rapid connector for the lower radiator pipe.- Lower the vehicle.    See in Op. 1092B40 Air conditioning compressor/alternator drive BELT - R.R.    See in Op. 1088E10 Radiator cooling FAN - R.R.    See in Op. 0010T21 ENGINE COOLANT - Check density and top up if necessary-    See in Op. 7040D50 ENGINE COMPARTMENT UPPER SOUND INSULATION SHIELD - R.R.- Connect the negative battery terminal and position the cover on the left hand side of the luggage compartment.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
