The vehicle should be in the following condition before the operation: rear bumper removed.

Removing ( Refitting ) - Check whether the components connected are distorted through the bodyshell alignment measurements using suitable test equipment (test benches, templates or jigs).1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and remove the crossmember (1b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Position the crossmember and secure it using the nuts.

When the operation is completed, refit the elements removed previously.
