) - Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery lead. See in Op. 7040D50 ENGINE COMPARTMENT UPPER SOUND INSULATION SHIELD - R.R. See in Op. 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r See in Op. 1048A21 AIR INLET HOSE FROM INTAKE TO FILTER - R.R.1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.2. Release the air filter casing from the two flexible mountings, then remove the air filter (2a), complete with air flow meter (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the air filter, complete with air flow meter, in its housing and fasten it to the two flexible mountings.

Take care to ensure that the filter element is correctly positioned during the refitting, checking that the seal is not coming out of its housing and that it is not damaged.

Clean the air flow meter thoroughly to avoid damaging the sensitive element.
