The ABS warning light does not come on and the system is not working properly.

1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector check the following at the brake node:In errors ambient

  • that there are no faults
In parameters ambient

  • the plausibility of all the parameters
In active diagnosis ambient

  • the operation of the ABS warning light
Move on to Step 1. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions in the diagnostic table
2. The warning light does not come on2. Replace the brake node    See in Op. 3340A12 A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic CONTROL UNIT - R.R. - Includes bleeding air

Disconnect the ABS system electrics and, with the assistance of an overhauling bench, check the efficiency of the braking systemMove on to Step Braking action unbalancedOverhaul the braking system

Check that the fault is no longer present
the test is essential becaues the braking system is one of the vehicle's safety systems
