374101 - O17 DRIVER'S SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (FRONT/REAR ROCKER) NOT WORKING

the height adjustment is controlled by a joystick on the seat connected to the Driving Position Node; the possible adjustments are: completely raising or lowering the seat or tilting backwards or forwards.The Driving Position Node is connected to two motors located under the seat for the adjustments.The potentiometric sensors connected to the motors are designed to memorize the seat position.When the speed of the vehicle exceeds 10 Km/h the adjustment of the driver's seat by recalling the position memorized is not possible.

Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connect and check the following at the Driving Position NodeIn errors ambient

  • that there are no faults
In parameters ambient

  • the plausibility of the front UP/DOWN and the rear UP/DOWN parameters.
In active diagnosis ambient

  • the operation of the rocker/lifting motors.
Move on to Step 1. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.
2. Front and rear tilting and lifting parameters not plausible Move on to Step
3. The motors are not workingMove on to Step

Connect the seat electrically.Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connect and check the following at the Driving Position Node in active diagnosis.With the help of a voltmeter and with the active diagnosis activated, check for power supply positives at the rocker motors. (Wiring Diagram ) E3076 ELECTRICALLY-ADJUSTABLE SEATS Move on to Step No power supply positives. Replace the Driving Position Node
