STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the Connect Nodein errors ambient

  • that there are no faults
Move on to Step Presence of faultsContinue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Remove the Connect and check:

  • the effective connection of the aerial connector.
Remove the roof panel, identify the diversity module and check

  • for the presence of a positive supply coming from the Connect.
  • the continuity/insulation of the aerial lead (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO
Move on to Step 1. Aerial connector disconnected1. Reconnect the aerial connector.
2. No positive supply at the diversity moduleMove on to Step
3. Aerial lead broken/not insulated3. Replace the aerial lead.

Check the continuity/insulation of the supply lead from the Connect to the diversity module (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO Move on to Step Electrical connection faultyRestore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO
