Operational Description

The Body Computer M001 receives the dipped headlamps on signal at pin 4 of connector E; an earth signal (pin 8 of connector H) energizes the dipped headlamps enablement relay R1 inside the junction unit under the dashboard B002 which supplies the hedlamp alignment control unit M073 (pin 8) via the line protected by fuse F13. This control unit receives the speedometer signal at pin 4 and the signals coming from the potentiometers on the front axle K001 and the rear axle K002 at pins 6 and 7 respectively. The instrument panel E050 receives the headlamp alignment control unit M073 failure signal at pin 12 of connector B directly. The signals that determine the movement of the stepping motors inside the left headlamp F010 and the right headlamp F011 are transmitted from control unit M073 from pins 16, 17 18 and 19 for the former and from pins 15, 20, 21 and 22 for the latter. The speedometer signal for automatically activating the adjustment of the front light clusters reaches the Body Computer M001 at pin 7 of connector A.    See E4010 INSTRUMENT PANEL
