Operational Description
The Cruise Control function is managed by engine control unit M010 upon a request by Cruise Control control H007 located to the left of the steering wheel.Cruise Control H007 is ignition-operated ( INT ) at pin 2 , via a line protected by fuse F35 of underfacia junction unit B002.Control H007 is connected to engine control unit ( connector A ) :
at pin 10 with the ON / OFF signal;
at pin 42 with the RCL (RECALL) signal;
at pin 43 with the SET + signal;
at pin 58 with the SET - signal;
pin 26 of connector A of M010 receives a stop pedal released signal ( N.C. contact) , from the second contact of brake light switch I030, ignition-operated ( INT ) by a line protected by fuse F35 of underfacia control unit B002 , to automatically deactivate the Cruise Control function.Pin 59 of connector A of engine control unit M010 receives a signal from the contact of clutch switch I031 , also for the purposes of programmed function deactivation.Engine control unit M010 is connected via the C Can line from pins 45 and 61 of connector A to Body Computer M001 , pins 32 and 33 of connector B. Body Computer M001 in turn sends a B Can signal to instrument panel E050, which indicates system faults via a message on the display .
