939010755 - 2710A30 INTERMEDIATE DRIVESHAFT - R + R WITH RIGHT DRIVESHAFT REMOVED

Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the front driveshaft in a vice fitted with protective jaws.
Two mechanics are needed for this operation.
1. Remove the bands securing the protective boot using a suitable tool.

2. Turn the boot over to uncover the three-lobe joint.
1. Use a suitable drift (1a) and mallet to disconnect the intermediate driveshaft (1b) from the front driveshaft.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Fill the joint and the boot with the specified grease.

- Using a suitable drift, fit the intermediate driveshaft on the front driveshaft.- Place the boot back in its housing.- Fit two new bands securing the boot using a suitable tool.
