- Clean any residues of sealant from the mating surface between the flywheel side oil seal cover and the crankcase sump.- Apply silicone sealant to the mating surface of the crankcase sump and the flywheel side oil seal cover. | Apply a continuous strip of sealant, without breaks, taking care to ensure that it joins to the strip already present between the crankcase and engine block. |
