FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The alarm system is managed by the alarm control unit integrated in the Body Computer M1: it is supplied by the battery from the line for the maxifuse of B99 - pin 18 of connector F and by the line protected by fuse F39 - pin 17 of connector F; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9.The Body Computer M1 receives "door open" input signals at pin 8 (driver''s front door), pin 25 (passenger front door), pin 16 (left rear door) and 26 (right rear door) of connector D; these same signals switch on the timed lights.    See E2510 COURTESY LIGHTS The bonnet is controlled by switch I10 which is connected to pin 24 of connector B of M1.The boot opening switch located in the lock N57 sends an earth signal to the Body Computer M1 - pin 36 of connector E; the same signal is used to switch on the boot courtesy light.    See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - BOOT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHT - DESCRIPTIONThe siren P90 receives a power supply from the Body Computer M1, from pin 34 of connector B - line protected by fuse F30 of junction unit B2 and is connected through the dedicated serial line to pin 25 of connector B.The unit that includes the volumetric and anti-tilt sensors, located in the front courtesy light G10 - connector C and F - receives a power supply from the Body Computer M1, from pin 27 of connector E - line protected by fuse F30 of junction unit B2 - and is connected via the dedicated serial line to pin 7 of connector D.The unit also receives a power supply from the ignition-controlled line (INT) protected by fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the courtesy light contains two buttons for excluding the volumetric and anti-tilt control function and the LED comes on if they are excluded.The deterrent LED E40 located in the driver''s front door is connected to pins 6 and 8 of connector C of M66 and from there, via the CAN, to the Body Computer M1.
