) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Draw off the power assisted steering fluid using a suitable syringe.1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the intermediate pipe, steering box side.

Collect the fluid that comes out in a suitable container.

2. Undo the nut securing the intermediate pipe mounting bracket to the suspension frame.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) securing the intermediate pipe (1b) to the suspension frame.

1. Disconnect the rapid connector (1a) and remove the intermediate pipe (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the intermediate pipe in position and tighten the fastenings to the suspension frame.- Connect the ends of the intermediate pipe to the rapid connectors.
