The warning light remains on even when the driver''s seat belt is fastened. The Air Bag Node sends the message to the centre front courtesy light where the seat belt not fastened warning light is housed

1	ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	With the Examiner in the Instrument Panel Node ambient check that the seat belts not fastened warning light is correctly activated in Active Diagnosis.	Move on to Step 2	1.The seat belt not fastened warning light is not flashing	1.Replace the centre front courtesy light    Op. 7040E40 MODULAR FRONT COURTESY LIGHT - R R
			2.Seat belt fastened switch short circuited to earth	2.Replace seat belt mounting and switchOp. 7065A15 ANCHORAGE ROD OF A FRONT SEAT BELT ON A SEAT WITH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT, LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R .
			3.Wiring between air bag control unit and courtesy light short circuited to earth	3.Renew wiring insulation
2	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the diagnostic equipment connected, check at the Air Bag Node that the fault is not longer present	End of diagnosis
