DESCRIPTION

The rear wiper control is activated by turning the three-position wheel anticlockwise:- stable central position, equivalent to OFF;- 2 unstable positions: rear wiper activation and rear washer activation. The rear wiper is controlled by the stalk intermittently with an interval of 5 seconds between the end of one stroke and the beginning of the next. The motor is activated throughout the duration of the command and until the brush is reparked.
With the windscreen wipers working, if reverse gear is engaged, the rearscreen wiper is automatically activated: this function is managed by the Body Computer, which receives information from the reversing switch    See E2022 REVERSING LIGHTS - DESCRIPTION
Pushing the right steering column switch unit lever activates the rear washing. Keeping the lever pushed for more than 0.5 secs automatically activates the rearscreen wiper at the continuous speed. The windscreen wash/wipe circuit is protected by a specific fuse and controlled by the ignition-operated exclusion relay (INT/A) located in the junction unit under the dashboard. The windscreen wiper and the windscreen washer can be activated with the TEG inserted and after starting (INT/A).
