1At service temperature, with engine idling, the reading must be between 10 and 120°C. The test may be said to be concludedMove on to Step 2
2Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the temperature sensor and fuel heater coilSee K100 MIL WARNING LIGHT NOT WORKING (REMAINS OFF BEFORE STARTING)Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between the sensor Pin 4 and Earth. Ensure is between 4.8 and 5.2 V. Go on to Step 4See K100 MIL WARNING LIGHT NOT WORKING (REMAINS OFF BEFORE STARTING)Move on to Step 3
3If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the electrical wiring between the engine control unit and the heater coil    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT The test can be considered overReplace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
