939010188 - 1060GG MEASURED AIR MASS CHECK

CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
Turn the ignition key to the ON position. With the engine off and all users off the measured Air Mass must be in a range between 0 and 1 kg/hMove on to Step 5
With the engine idling and warmed up, with the EGR valve closed and accelerator pedal not operated, the measured Air Mass must be in a range between 40 and 60 kg/hMove on to Step 5
With all users off, when the accelerator pedal is pumped several times, the measured Air Mass must be seen to alter in a short time.Move on to Step 5
With the EGR Valve open and accelerator pedal not operated, the Measured Air Mass must be in a range between 20 and 40 kg/h. The test may be said to be completedMove on to Step 5
Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the air flow meter.    See K041 AIR FLOW METER Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 1 of the gauge and Earth, ensuring it is greater than 11 V.    See K041 AIR FLOW METER Move on to Step 7Move on to Step 6
If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the electrical wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the debimeter.    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT The test can be considered overReplace the junction unit    Op. 5505A13 ADDITIONAL JUNCTION UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT - R.R.
Measure the voltage between Pins 1 and 2 of the gauge and Earth, ensuring it is greater than 11 V.    See K041 AIR FLOW METER Move on to Step 9Move on to Step 8
If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the electrical wiring between the engine control unit and the debimeter.    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT The test can be considered overReplace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
Measure the voltage between Pin 4 of the gauge and Earth, ensuring it is in a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V.    See K041 AIR FLOW METER Move on to Step 8
Replace the debimeter and check the fault has disappeared    Op. 1060G10 AIR FLOW METER - R.R. Repair the original debimeter and replace the engine management control unit.    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
