STEPCHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.In the engine compartment junction unit, remove relay T9 (in the middle of the lower row)Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 85 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is less than 0.3 V.Move on to Step 4Move on to Step 2
2If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the engine compartment junction unit    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace the wiring if necessaryThe test can be considered overReplace the junction unit    Op. 5505A13 ADDITIONAL JUNCTION UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT - R.R. and move on to Step 3
3Check the fault disappears.The test can be considered overRepair the original junction unit and replace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
4Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is less than 1.0 V.Move on to Step 15Move on to Step 5
5Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the engine management control unit connector A.Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
6Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EGR solenoidPress the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the EGR solenoid valve    Op. 1080C24 E.G.R. SYSTEM SOLENOID - R + R
7Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the flow modifying solenoid valve.Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the solenoid valveOp. 1064A34 TURBOCHARGER PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT VALVE - R.R.
8Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the built-in throttle body actuator.Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the built-in throttle body actuator    Op. 1060G50 THROTTLE BODY - R.R
9Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the accelerator pedal potentiometerPress the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the accelerator pedal    Op. 1068A20 ACCELERATOR PEDAL WITH BUILT-IN POTENTIOMETER - R.R
10Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the brake pedal switch.Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is greater than 1.0 V.Replace the brake pedal switch    Op. 5550D10 BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH - R+R
11Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the battery positivePress the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 87 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth, ensuring it is less than 1.0 V.Move on to Step 14

14Press the START/STOP button.Disconnect the cable loom connector from the engine management control unit connector A.Check the resistance between Pin 85 of the base unit for relay T9 and the earth is greater than 500 kOhms.Move on to Step 16Move on to Step 15
