STEPCHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the air flow meter.Press the START/STOP button.Check that the voltage across pin 1 of the meter    See K041 AIR FLOW METER and the earth is greater than 11 V.Move on to Step 3Move on to Step 2
2If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the debimeter    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary.The test can be considered overReplace the junction unit    Op. 5505A13 ADDITIONAL JUNCTION UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT - R.R.
3Check that the voltage across pin 1 and 2 of the meter    See K041 AIR FLOW METER Replace the wiring if necessaryis greater than 11 V.Move on to Step 5Move on to Step 4
4If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine control unit and the debimeter    See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary.The test can be considered overReplace the engine management control unit    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
5Check that the voltage across pin 3 of the meter    See K041 AIR FLOW METER and earth is between 4.8 and 5.2 VMove on to Step 4
6Replace the debimeter    Op. 1060G10 AIR FLOW METER - R.R. Repair the original debimeter and replace the engine management control unit.    Op. 1060G80 DIESEL ELECTRONIC INJECTION CONTROL UNIT - .R
