939010225 - 1080BE PARTICULATE FILTER SATURATION CHECK

CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
Turn the ignition ON with the engine off.Turn off all the electrical users.Display the dust saturation percentage parameter and ensure it is greater than 110%.
In the active diagnosis section, run diesel particulate filter Regeneration and ensure it is successfulMove on to Step 4
Check the fault disappears. The test can be considered overMove on to Step 4
Check there are no leaks or obstructions in the exhaust circuit, including the hosesRepair or if necessary replace the faulty components    Op. 1080B EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
Check the precatalytic converter is not faultyReplace the precatalytic converterOp. 1080B40 CATALYTIC PRE-CONVERTER - R.R
Check the main catalytic converter is not faultyReplace the catalytic converter with particulate trap
Check that the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the precatalytic converter is correctly connected    See E5060 CRUISE CONTROLRestore the correct connections
Check that the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the precatalytic converter does not contain visually detectable faults.Replace the temperature sensor on the precatalytic converter    Op. 1080B64 CATALYTIC CONVERTER EXCESS TEMPERATURE THERMOCOUPLE - R + R
Check that the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the main catalytic converter is correctly connected    See E5060 CRUISE CONTROLRestore the correct connections
Check that the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the main catalytic converter does not contain visually detectable faults.Replace the temperature sensor on the precatalytic converter
Check that the differential pressure sensor on the main catalytic converter is correctly connected    See E5060 CRUISE CONTROLRestore the correct connections
Check that the differential pressure sensor on the main catalytic converter does not contain visually detectable faults.Replace pressure sensor
Replace the catalytic converter with particulate trap
