| 1 | Press the START/STOP button and turn off the engine.Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EGR solenoid See L030 EGR SOLENOID VALVE Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 1 of the wiring side connector and Earth. Ensure it is greater than 11V.Press the START/STOP button.Move on to Step 4 | Move on to Step 2 |
| 2 | In the engine compartment junction unit, remove fuse F11 (third in the lower row) See B001 JUNCTION UNIT Press the START/STOP button.Check the voltage between the fuse inlet contact and earth. | 4 | Disconnect the wiring harness connector from engine control unit connector B See M010 ENGINE MANAGEMENT ECU Press the START/STOP button.Measure the voltage between Pin 2 of the EGR solenoid wiring side connector and Earth. Ensure it is less than 0.3 V. | 5 | Press the START/STOP button. Measure the resistance between Pin 2 of the EGR solenoid wiring side connector and Earth. Ensure it is greater than 500 kOhm. | 6 | Measure the resistance between Pin 2 of the EGR solenoid wiring side connector and Pin 60 of engine control unit wiring side connector B. Ensure it is less than 5 Ohms.
