| 1 | Check power supply (+30)- Check for battery voltage between pin 1 of audio amplifier connector and earth
- Check the connector is correctly inserted in the other part.
- Try to move it from its seat by shifting it by a small amount in all directions, holding the connector case in your fingers and the wiring in your hand. The connector should remain in place
- Apply a moderate pulling force. The connector should remain in place
- check whether the power supply turns off, turns on and/or vice versa (touching/not touching)
- Subject the cable to a pulling force and check cable stability (no shrinkage): apply repeated pull-push-pull cycles to the cable and check it remains immobile.
Examine the crimping:Use a magnifying glass to examine the terminal criming area. The barrels must be turned symmetrically and three-stranded sections should not emerge from the criming area. The area of bare wire beneath the barrel must emerge by approximately 0.5 mm | Replace fuse F61 in the boot compartment control unit if blown, after identifying the cause- Restore the wiring between the boot compartment control unit and subwoofer

| 3 | Check the activation signal from the radio- With the radio on, check for the presence of a 12 Volt activation signal at pin 6 of the amplifier
| Restore the connection between pin 6 of the amplifier and pin 6 of the radio PC connnector. If the signal is interrupted by the radio, replace the radio |
