) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo bolts (1a) and nuts (1b) and remove the particulate filter bracket (1c).

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the hoses from the rigid pipes for the particulate filter differential pressure sensor.

1. Unscrew and remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor on the particulate filter.

1. Undo the nuts fixing the intermediate exhaust pipe to the particulate filter.

1. Position a hydraulic jack (1a) equipped with a tool (1b) for supporting the particulate filter.2. Release the exhaust pipe assembly from its flexible blocks and remove.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the rear exhaust silencer in its housing and secure to the flexible supports.- Remove the hydraulic jack with the suitable tool for supporting the fuel tank.1. Tighten the nuts fixing the intermediate exhaust pipe to the particulate filter to the specified torque.

1. Place the exhaust gas temperature sensor back in its housing on the particulate filter and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Connect the hoses to the rigid pipes for the particulate filter differential pressure sensor and tighten the bands.- Place the particulate oil filter bracket in its housing and secure it using the nuts and bolts. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
