) Follow the safety instructions Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo nut (1a) and disconnect connector (1b) from condenser (1c).

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

- Lower the vehicle. Op. 7210E20 R.R. BONNET 1. Disconnect recovery pipe (1a) from rigid pipe (1b).2. Undo bolt (2a) and disconnect connector (2b) from compressor (2c).3. Open the pipe retaining band.

1. Press tabs (1a) on rapid connector (1b), then disconnect pipe (1c) coming from the compressor, first pushing it upwards and then pulling it downwards.2. Open the pipe retaining bands.3. Remove the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator) to the compressor and to the condenser.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator ) to the compressor and to the condenser is not damaged and that there are no cracks that could compromise the seal.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

- Position the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator) to the compressor and to the condenser.- Secure the pipe to the retaining band.- Connect the pipe coming from the compressor, to the rapid connector.1. Secure the pipe to the retaining band.2. Attach the connector to the compressor and tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.

- Connect the recovery pipe to the rigid pipe.

Op. 7210E20 R.R. BONNET - Raise the vehicle.1. Attach connector (1a) to condenser (1b) and tighten nut (1c) to the recommended torque.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Repressurize the coolant Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
