FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The EOBD central tester output is built into Body Computer M1 connector C.It is supplied directly by the battery at pin 16 of the line protected by fuse F39 of underfacia junction unit B2 ; pins 4 and 5 are earthed.Pin 1 is connected to the K line at ABS control unit M50 (pin 6)    See E7020 ABS     See E7022 VDC    See E7022 VDCPin 7 is connected, via the K line, to the engine management control unit M10    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT     See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Pin 7 is also connected through the K line to the automatic transmission control unit M55 (only on versions with Automatic Transmission)    See E7050 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONPin 12 is connected by the K line to the management control units for the xenon headlamps F10 and F11.    See E3080 HEADLAMP AGLINMENT CORRECTOR
The remaining outlets for other possible K lines are not used on this version.
Pin 6 and 14 are connected to the B-CAN network: this network controls and "diagnoses" the junction unit under the dashboard B2, the instrument panel E50, the driver''s door control unit M66, the passenger door control unit M67 and the boot control unit M63, the controls for the seats H66 and H67, the TEG Reader H3, the steering lock control unit M89, the radio or the built-in radio-telephone-navigator P20 and the controls on the steering wheel D47, the climate control system control unit M70, the Air Bag control unit M60 and the parking sensors control unit M84.    See E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES
