Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant. Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 5040B14 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM MULTISTAGE PRESSURE SWITCH - R+R 1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the condenser (1c).

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

- Lower the vehicle. Op. 7025A64 ENGINE COMPARTMENT GASKET - R.R. 1. Release the windscreen base right half trim retaining buttons using the special tool.

2. Remove the windscreen base right half trim (2a) releasing the internal retainers (2b).

Working on the right front side of the engine compartment, undo the nut (1a) and release the retainer (1b) for the pipe (1c) from the condenser to the evaporator.2. Release the retainer.3. Press the tabs (3a) on the rapid connector (3b), then disconnect the pipe (3c) coming from the evaporator, first pushing it downwards and then pulling it upwards.

1. Open the pipe retaining bands (1a) and (1b).2. Undo the bolt (2a) and release the partition duct (2b) from the housing.

1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) for the pipes from the expansion valve.2. Remove the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor is not damaged and it does not have cracks that affect the seal.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant. Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

1. Position the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor.2. Connect the connector (2a) for the pipes to the expansion valve and secure it tightening the nut (2b) to the specified torque.

- Fit the partition duct in place and tighten the bolt.- Attach the pipe to the bands.- Connect the pipe coming from the evaporator to the rapid connector.- Attach the retainer to the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator and tighten the nut. Op. 1056F09 HOT FILM AIRFLOW METER DEBIMETER R R Op. 1048A28 VACUUM AIR CIRCUIT RESONATOR PIPE - R+R - Position the windscreen base right half trim attaching the inner retainers, then secure it using the retaining buttons. Op. 7025A64 ENGINE COMPARTMENT GASKET - R.R. - Raise the vehicle.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the condenser (1b) and tighten the nut (1c) to the recommended torque.
