Follow the safety instructions Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE Op. 1048A28 VACUUM AIR CIRCUIT RESONATOR PIPE - R+R Op. 1056F09 HOT FILM AIRFLOW METER DEBIMETER R R 1. Release the retainer (1a) for the pipe (1b) coming from the evaporator.2. Press the tabs (2a) on the rapid connector (2b), then disconnect the pipe (2c), first pushing it downwards and then pulling it upwards.

Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the compressor (1c).

- Raise the vehicle. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. 1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the condenser (1c).2. Remove the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator) to the compressor and to the condenser.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Check that the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator ) to the compressor and to the condenser is not damaged and that there are no cracks that could compromise the seal.

Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant. Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.

1. Position the pipe with the rapid connector (from the evaporator) to the compressor and to the condenser.2. Connect the connector (2a) to the condenser and tighten the nut (2b) to the recommended torque.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Lower the vehicle.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the compressor (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.

- Connect the pipe coming from the evaporator to the rapid connector.- Attach the pipe to the retainer. Op. 1056F09 HOT FILM AIRFLOW METER DEBIMETER R R Op. 1048A28 VACUUM AIR CIRCUIT RESONATOR PIPE - R+R - Repressurize the coolant Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
