Removing ( Refitting )

The procedure for the intake side phase transformer solenoid is described below, carry out the same instructions for the exhaust side phase transformer solenoid.

    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R     Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R.     Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.     Op. 1008B10 POWER UNIT FRONT SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING (TIMING SIDE) - REPLACE     Op. 1008A46 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - TIMING SIDE - R.R. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the phase transformer solenoid.

1	Inlet side phase transformer solenoid valve - left head	See N188 INLET SIDE PHASE TRANSFORMER SOLENOID - LEFT HEAD

2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the phase transformer solenoid (2b).3. Remove the oil seal from the timing cover. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit a new oil seal and lubricate it with engine oil.- Place the phase transformer solenoid in position and fasten it tightening the bolt to the recommended torque.
