Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the safety instructions    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R 1. Remove the air duct leading to engine radiator (1a) after unscrewing bolts (1b) and releasing retainers (1c).
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and (1b) and disconnect pipe connectors (1c) and (1d) from the condenser.
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
2. Undo the condenser nuts.3. Remove the condenser (3a) by releasing from retainers (3b).
- If necessary, remove the drier filter.    Op. 5040A44 AIR CONDITIONING DRIER FILTER/ACCUMULATOR - R+R Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the condenser is intact and does not show signs of damage or deposits of dirt on the finned surface.- If removed, refit the drier filter.    Op. 5040A44 AIR CONDITIONING DRIER FILTER/ACCUMULATOR - R+R
Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant. Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
1. Position condenser (1a) and do up retainers (1b).2. Tighten the condenser retaining nuts.3. Connect the fittings of pipes (3a, 3b) to the condenser and tighten the nuts to the specified torque (3c, 3d).

- Refit the air duct to the engine radiator and do up the retainers, then tighten the bolts.    Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R     Op. 7210E10 R.R. FRONT BUMPER     Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. - Repressurize the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
