Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the safety instructions.
    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS - Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant.    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - Remove the bonnet lid.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.     Op. 5040B14 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM MULTISTAGE PRESSURE SWITCH - R+R 1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the condenser (1c).
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
- Lower the vehicle.    Op. 7025A64 ENGINE COMPARTMENT GASKET - R.R. 1. Release the retaining buttons for the right half of the trim at the windscreen base using the special tool.

2. Remove the right half trim at the base of the windscreen (2a) releasing the internal retainers (2b).
1. Working behind the right front headlamp, undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the intermediate fitting (1b) of the pipe (1c) from the compressor to the expansion valve.2. Disconnect pipe (2a) from retaining collar (2b).
1. Disconnect the electrical connection.

2. Disconnect the retaining bands.3. Move the pipe from the air filter to the throttle body.4. Disconnect retaining collars (4a) from pipe (4b).5. Undo the bolt (5a) and release the bulkhead connector (5b) from its housing.
1. Undo the nut (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) pipes from the expansion valve.2. Remove the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor is not damaged and it does not have cracks that affect the seal.
Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant. Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
1. Position the pipe from the expansion valve to the condenser and to the connector for the compressor.2. Connect the connector (2a) for the pipes to the expansion valve and secure it tightening the nut (2b) to the specified torque.

- Fit the partition duct in place and tighten the bolt.- Secure the pipes to the retaining bands.- Position the pipe from the air filter to the throttle body and secure with the retaining collars.- Connect the electrical connection for the flow meter.1. Connect pipe (1a) to retaining collar (1b).2. Connect the intermediate connector (2a) of the pipe (2b) from the compressor to the expansion valve and tighten the nut (2b) to the recommended torque.

- Position the windscreen base right half trim attaching the inner retainers, then secure it using the retaining buttons.    Op. 7025A64 ENGINE COMPARTMENT GASKET - R.R. 1. Connect the connector (1a) to the condenser (1b) and tighten the nut (1c) to the recommended torque.
