FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The Body Computer M1 is supplied directly from the battery via line protected by maxifuse F1 of engine compartment control unit B1 at pin 18 of connector F that interfaces with underfacia control unit B2 .The Body Computer M1 receives an ignition-operated supply (INT) at pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2 : this signal is used, amongst other things, to "wake up the network".Pins 8 and 9 of connector I of M1 are earthed. The nodes connected to Body Computer M1 - from pins 36 and 37 of connector B - via the high speed C-CAN network are:- engine management control unit M10;- ABS/VDC control unit M50 ;- automatic transmission control unit M55 (only on version with Automatic Transmission);- gear selector control unit M53 (only on version with Automatic Transmission);- steering angle sensor K58 (only present on versions with VDC);- slewing sensor K74 (only present on versions with VDC);The following nodes are connected to the Body Computer M1 via the B-CAN low speed network:- underfacia junction unit B2 ;- instrument panel E50;- driver''s side door control unit M66 , passenger side door M67 ;- boot compartment control unit M63 ;- parking sensor control unit M84 ;- seat control unit H66 and H67;- Air Bag control unit M60 .- climate control sytem control unit M70;- controls on the steering wheel (via the clock spring D47);- built-in radio-telephone-navigator P20;- Bluetooth control unit M162- steering lock control unit M89 ;- TEG Reader H3.
