939003639 - K161 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE NOT WORKING

With the ignition ON, the engine oil temperature gaute in the additional instrument panel is not working

the engine oil temperature faulty signal is made available to the instrument panel and, via a serial line, to the gauge.

1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Keeping the Examiner diagnostic equipment connected to the diagnostic socket, check the operation of the pointer through active diagnosis	Move on to Step 2	1.The pointer does not work for the serial line with the NQS interrupted	1.Renew serial line
			2.Instrument power supply interrupted	2.Restore power supply
			3.Instrument defective	3.Replace gauge    Op. 5560C51 COMBINED ANALOGUE CONTROL PANEL - R+R OR REPLACE
2	ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the continuity/insulation of the connection between the engine oil temperature sensor and the instrument panel    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT	Move on to Step 3	Cable interrupted/not insulated	Restore continuity/insulation of the cable.
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis
