Removing ( Refitting )

The procedure for the intake side phase transformer solenoid is described below, carry out the same instructions for the exhaust side phase transformer solenoid.

    Op. 1076B82 LEFT EXHASUST PIPE BETWEEN CATALYTIC PRECONVERTER AND CONVERTER - R.R.1. Undo the bolts fixing the lower reaction rod to the engine oil sump.     Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R     Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R.     Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.     Op. 1008B10 POWER UNIT FRONT SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING (TIMING SIDE) - REPLACE     Op. 1008A46 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - TIMING SIDE - R.R. - Using an arm lift, move the power unit towards the radiator so that there is the minimum space for carrying out the operation.1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the phase transformer solenoid.

2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the phase transformer solenoid (2b).3. Remove the oil seal from the timing cover. Refitting ( Removing ) - Lubricate a new oil seal with engine oil and place it in the phase transformer solenoid housing on the timing cover.- Place the phase transformer solenoid in position and fasten it tightening the bolt to the recommended torque.

- Connect the electrical connection for the phase transformer solenoid.    Op. 1008A46 POWER UNIT RIGID SUPPORT - TIMING SIDE - R.R.     Op. 1008B10 POWER UNIT FRONT SUPPORT FLEXIBLE MOUNTING (TIMING SIDE) - REPLACE     Op. 7055B66 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.     Op. 7055B91 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER - R.R.     Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R - Connect the lower reaction rod to the engine oil sump and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.
