939005366 - 5510CC IGNITION COIL CHECK

CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
Connect the diagnostic equipment and check that none of the following errors is present: P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306Continue as described by the diagnostic equipment
Start up the engine and let it warm up. Keep the engine at a speed of 2000 rpm and check that there is no misfire. The test can be considered overMove on to Step 3
Check that the errors have been detected at all the cylinders in one bank (P0301, P0302 and P0303 or P0304, P0305 and P0306 respectively).Move on to Step 10Move on to Step 4
Press the START/STOP button (engine off).Disconnect the corresponding cylinder coil.Press the START/STOP button (panel on).Measure the voltage between Pin 2 of the coil    See A030 IGNITION COIL and the Earth, checking that it corresponds to the battery voltageMove on to Step 8
Measure the voltage between Pins 2 and 3 of the coil    See A030 IGNITION COIL checking that it corresponds to the battery voltageRestore or, if necessary, replace the electrical wiring    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Move on to Step 11
Measure the voltage between Pins 2 and 4 of the coil    See A030 IGNITION COIL checking that it corresponds to the battery voltageRestore or, if necessary, replace the electrical wiring    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Move on to Step 11
If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the ignition coil electrical wiring.    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Move on to Step 11Replace the faulty ignition coil    Op. 5510C14 IGNITION COIL/S - R.R. Move on to Step 11
Check that none of the components connected to the same line as the coil has faults in the electrical connections such as short circuits or poor insulation    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Restore or, if necessary, replace the electrical wiring    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Move on to Step 11
Replace the coil protective fuse    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Move on to Step 11
If faults are present, repair or if necessary replace the ignition coil electrical wiring.    See E5030 PETROL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT
Reconnect all the electrical components disconnected previously. Using the diagnostic equipment, delete the errors in the engine management control unit. Start the engine and check that there are no longer any errorsContinue as described by the diagnostic equipment
