939003735 - Q001 SUN ROOF NOT WORKING

When the relevant control is operated, the sunroof does not move at all or moves jerkily.

Carry out the procedure to initialise the sunroof electronic control unit and check whether the roof moves.    See descriptions 7030 SUN ROOF/GLASS PANEL End of diagnosisThe roof does not move.Move on to Step 1.
1CHECK THE SUNROOF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY CIRCUITALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the following, in order:

  • sunroof supply fuse;

  • sunroof supply relay;

  • sunroof electronic control unit;

  • connection between sunroof relay, fuse and electronic control unit

  • correct power supply to the motor.
Move on to Step 21. Connections not correct1. Repair the connections
2. Component defective2. Replace the component involved (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).

4. The motor is not correctly supplied4. Supply the motor directly from the battery bypassing the Body Computer (the cable terminals must be firmly secured to the battery poles). 3CHECK THE TORQUE REQUIRED TO MOVED THE SUNROOFALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Use a torque wrench to check the torque required to move the sunroof by hand (70 Nm max with 100 mm lever).Move on to Step 41. Incorrect effort (more than 100 Nm)1. Move on to Step 4
2. Incorrect effort (between 70 and 100 Nm)2. Roll the roof by hand.
