FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The Body Computer M1 receives "door open" input signals at pin 8 (driver''s front door) and pin 16 of connector D (left rear door) and at pin 25 (front passenger door) and pin 26 of connector E (right rear door).Both the front courtesy light G10 and the rear courtesy light G25 receive a power supply from the direct line protected by fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.The front courtesy light G10 is controlled by the Body Computer M1 : the analogue control signal from the three courtesy light buttons reaches pin 28 of connector E of M1 : the Body Computer M1 consequently supplies the courtesy lights G10, providing a timed earth signal from pins 21, 30 and 37.The left rear courtesy light G25 is controlled by the front door control unit M66: the control signal from the button on the courtesy light reach pin 12 of connector B, whilst a power supply is sent from pin 14 to the lights G25.The right rear courtesy light G26 is controlled by the front door control unit M66: the control signal from the button on the courtesy light reach pin 11 of connector B, whilst a power supply is sent from pin 13 to the lights G26.The Body Computer M1 is connected, via the CAN line, to the instrument panel E50 from which it receives the "inertia switch operated" signal that lights up the courtesy lights and to which a signal that lights up the "doors open" warning light, when necessary, is sent.
