On the basis of the battery voltage control logic (SBMT) described previously, the Body Computer M1 supplies the boot light G40 from pin 23 of connector E and the driver''s sun visor light G31 and the passenger sun visor light G32 from pin 33 of connector E; the glove compartment light G30 is supplied in a similar manner from pin 16 of connector H.The boot opening switch is located in the lock N47, it sends an earth signal when the boot is open to light up the relevant courtesy light G40; the same signal is sent to the Body Computer M1 - pin 36 of connector E "boot open" signal; the same signal is used by the alarm system, when fitted. See E7015 ALARMthe glove compartment light G30 is switched on automatcially - when the switch I30 closes - as the compartment is opened. The lights in the visors G31 and G32 are switched on by an earth signal sent from the switch on the lights themselves.
