There is a standard type current socket on the tunnel console next to the handbrake, which can be used for the cigar lighter or for connecting instruments or equipment operating on 12 V.There is a second current socket the same as the first one in the end section of the tunnel console towards the rear seats.In the STATION WAGON version there is also a third current socket similar to the other two, located on the left-hand side of the luggage compartment.The cigar lighter heater coil can be placed in the front socket of the console; simply press the knob to operate it: after a few seconds it will come out automatically, ready for use.The two sockets on the console have a ring nut that lights up when the side lights are on.    See E2535 CONTROL LIGHTSThe sockets are equipped with a thermal protection device: this protection cuts off the power supply if devices that absorb a lot of energy are connected.The circuit for the two current sockets in the console is protected by a specific fuse and controlled by the ignition-operated exclusion relay located in the junction unit under the dashboard. These sockets are ignition-operated (INT/A), to prevent the battery from being run down.The circuit for the luggage compartment current socket is also controlled by an ignition-operated (INT/A) exclusion relay and protected by a specific fuse, located in the luggage compartment fuse box.
