FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The parking sensor control unit M84 receives a supply at pin 1 of connector A from the ignition-controlled INT line protected by fuse F49 of junction unit B2; pin 8 of connector A is earthed. The control unit is connected, via pins 7 and 4 of connector A and the CAN, to all the other nodes in the same network, for example receiving the information that reverse gear is engaged. The commands for the display are sent to the instrument panel via the CAN.The signal from the activation/deactivation button, located in the courtesy light G10, reaches pin 4 of connector A. The positive signal that lights up the LED next to the button is sent from pin 13 of connector A.The front buzzer P44A is connected to pins 3 and 4 of connector B.The rear buzzer P44B is connected to pins 1 and 10 of connector A.The four front parking sensors K97 are connected to connector B of the control unit M84: pin 1 provides the reference earth, pin 2 the power supply, pins 5, 6, 7 and 8 are connected to sensors K97A, K97B, K97C and K97D, respectively. The four rear parking sensors K97 are connected to connector C of the control unit M84: pin 1 provides the reference earth, pin 6 the power supply, pins 5, 3, 2 and 4 are connected to sensors K97E, K97F, K97G and K97H, respectively.
