The backrest is supplied as standard in a fixed version. As an option, it is available split (40/60) and can be folded onto the cushion.The structure of the backrests is designed to guarantee the maximum safety of the occupants in all types of impacts, including any luggage being projected forwards.The structure of the rear cushions is optimised for antisubmarining.The foam used for the rear seats is comfortable thanks to solutions with differential load bearing (a property that measures the capacity of the padding to yield under the weight of the body) for different parts of the seat.One-piece rear seat

Head restraints
In rear impacts at low speed the most common injury is whiplash. To reduce the risk of this injury to a minimum, the vehicle is fitted with head restraints capable of retaining the head in the case of rear impacts preventing irregular or excessive stresses to the cervical group of the vertebral column. The size of the head restraint in relation to the position of the neck and the stiffness of the head restraint are therefore important with regard to the performance of this function.The following goals were set for this vehicle:- To minimise the distance between neck and head restraint- To ensure the adjustment range was sufficient to accommodate even very tall people.- Great stability during impact.The rear head restraints are therefore fitted with a height adjustment device that allows a fixed raised position as the lowered position.
Seats for children
It is also possible to fit child seats for carrying infants in accordance with ECE regulation 14/16 with the belt conforming to the Gabarit model to ensure the perfect retention of the body.It is also possible to fit up to two child seats using the ISOFIX three point mounting on the side rear seats; the third attachment is located on the top of the backrest.
