0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation

	First of all check whether the problem is accompanied by poor braking action.Visually check the level of the brake fluid in the reservoir Op. 0010T64 BRAKE AND/OR CLUTCH FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP AS NECESSARY	Move on to Step 1	Poor braking action detected.	Proceed as instructed in the See table F001 POOR BRAKING ACTION
		Move on to Step 1	Insufficient brake fluid level.	Restore the correct level Op. 0010T64 BRAKE AND/OR CLUTCH FLUID CHECK LEVEL AND TOP UP AS NECESSARY and carry out a road test. If the fault persists, move on to Step 1.
1	RESERVOIR LEAK CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check visually for fluid leaks from the reservoir and pipes.	Move on to Step 2	Leaks from tank.	Replace the tank Op. 3330C30 BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR - R + R AND WASH INSIDE
2	PUMP LEAK CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Visually check for fluid leaks from the brake pump and fittings.	Move on to Step 3	Leaks from pump/ABS control unit area fittings.	Tighten the connectors or replace the damaged parts.
		Move on to Step 3	Leaks from the pump.	Replace the brake servo assembly Op. 3330D02 BRAKE SERVO/BRAKE PUMP ASSEMBLY - R.R.
3	FLEXIBLE PIPES CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Visually check for leaks from the hoses.	Move on to Step 4	Leaks from fittings or deterioration of hose to front brakes.	Tighten the fittings or replace the pipe Op. 3340B10 HOSE TO L/H OR R/H FRONT BRAKES (ONE) - R+R
	Visually check for leaks from the hoses.	Move on to Step 4	Leaks from fittings or deterioration of hose to rear brakes.	Tighten the fittings or replace the pipe Op. 3340B30 HOSE TO L/H OR R/H REAR BRAKES (ONE) - R+R
4	RIGID PIPE CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Visually check for leaks from rigid underbody pipes.	End of diagnosis	Leaks from fittings or damage to rigid pipes.	Tighten the fittings or replace the rigid pipes.
